Built by a practitioner.
For practitioners.
Syntxis exists because most accounting content online is either too generic to be useful or produced by firms with something to sell. This is neither.
What is Syntxis?
Syntxis is a writing and learning project focused on one thing: helping Singapore accountants modernise how they work — without the vendor noise, the consultant fluff, or the assumption that you have an IT team behind you.
The focus is workflow. Specifically: Power Query for data transformation, Claude AI for thinking and drafting, and Notion for keeping things organised. Tools that a solo accountant can actually pick up and use this week.
Everything published here comes from daily use in a real accounting role. Not a course. Not a template shop. Just writing about what works.
Who writes it?
Coming soon.
Why does it exist?
There is almost no practitioner-led content for Singapore accountants on workflow modernisation. The gap between "here is what AI can theoretically do" and "here is how I built this in Excel last Tuesday" is enormous, and almost nobody is filling it from inside the profession.
Syntxis is an attempt to fill that gap — one post at a time, from inside the profession, without a consulting pitch at the end.
